The
core of the @ttract application framework is @ttract
Enterprise FS. Designed as a true enterprise class application
utilizing open standards, the @ttract Enterprise FS
provides the following benefits:
- Highly Scaleable and Highly Available @ttract is
designed to scale to millions of users through the
use of the Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE ) specification
and clustered services. The J2EE specification includes
the Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) architecture for the
development and deployment of component-based distributed
applications. Applications using EJB's are scalable,
transactional and multi-user secure.
- Platform Independent
Leveraging the platform independence of the J2EE specification,
@ttract Enterprise FS can run on any architecture
meeting the following requirements:
- J2EE compliant application server
- SQL Database application
- LDAP compliant directory server
- Any OS with JVM support
- Extendable
@ttract applications can easily be extended to incorporate
new "Snap in" features. By implementing
a standard set of interfaces or extending existing
features, new "Snap in" features can be
created that integrate with existing features or offer
new functionality to the @ttract feature set. An API
will allow third parties to author applications that
can be snapped into the framework.
