Microsystems Model Financial Institution Solution:
Included in the Sun
Model FI was the ability for users to retrieve important
financial information from anywhere at anytime. This
was accomplished through a Java Enabled Cell phone running
an eTango Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) application.
The J2ME application allowed
users to review important financial information on their
cell phone, then forward that information to their email
for more careful review later.
eTango's MIDP applicaiton
received information from third parties via SOAP / XML.
