 BellSouth
Telecommunications, one of the nation’s largest
telephone service & DSL internet service provider,
selected eTango's OSGi software and Professional Services
to architect and implement a Security Camera Residential
Gateway Solution for the BellSouth Executive Showcase.
eTango worked with the BellSouth Science & Technology
division to demonstrate the opportunities carriers have
to provision new services into the home. This specific
solution enabled home video monitoring from anywhere.
The solution featured the eTango OSGi Camera Software,
a Panasonic Residential Gateway, and three Panasonic
IP Cameras.
It allowed for the individual or simultaneous control
of the cameras in addition to the capture and storage
of still images. Cameras controls included pan and tilt.
